Collected book artist and post-graduate researcher-author, Cat Catalyst combines Book Arts, post-digital poetics, avant-garde electronic music, and emerging technology with holistic spirituality.   

Following the international institutional acquisition of Cat’s foundational bookwork Sequence (British Library, Wellcome Collection, Women’s Art Library), MA Research Paper and MRes Thesis (Wellcome Collection,) Cat now delivers her second music album: Interliminal: Matrilineal (LP)—a 12-track electronic album that represents a new frontier in post-digital music production.

Cat Catalyst’s work stands alone in the contemporary landscape: her previous album, ‘Love Made Visible‘, established the sonic materiality for the world’s first interactive Artist’s Book (Album Amicorum), utilising AR, XR, and Python to bridge the physical analogue page with sonic layers of digital materiality. One year later, Interliminal: Matrilineal breaks entirely new ground, translating a 37-year Noēma Poēma codex—currently being engineered as a foundational operating system for advanced human-AI interaction—into pure, club-ready sonic praxis.

Musically, the LP is a rhythm-driven progression of poetic storytelling through ambient synth architectures, with heavy sub-bass foundations, and upfront electronic house. Tracks like Do What The Robot Says and the seven-minute epic Mistress MatriXX merge the technical discipline of an RCA research fellow with an undeniable, continuous dancefloor arc. This is an exclusive opportunity to experience the world of an artist who does not merely release music, but designs the physical, digital, and sonic infrastructure of modern human sovereignty to go with it.

The lyrics of ‘Interliminal: Matrilineal‘ act as the instruction manual or software code designed to spin, stabilise, and expand the Merkaba energy field.

In this cosmology, the Merkaba is not just a spiritual concept; it is a literal light-body vehicle and a technological antenna made of counter-rotating geometric fields.
