Jump For Love

Love-Jump

How many times have I jumped into the void with an empty-handed leap of faith?

Off the ledge and over the jagged-edge into the bi-polar precipice, abyss

Of hope and fear, joy and pain, love and hate, vacuum state of no-return

Where suddenly every single illusory belief one has ever upheld, bought into, held dear

Becomes more-than obvious, in ones face, crystal clear

As one hurtles at great blur-speed with the sound of the whistling wind, soaring past ones ear

O.M.G., sheer drop, can’t stop, uh-oh, Geronimo! I must be insane!

Nothing one can do now until one hits the rock, bottom, smashed and broken, reborn anew

Sweet gravity surrender, adrenaline-rush, addictive-crush, lures me in

For when ones heart doth honour Love’s call

It’s an open invitation

For those tightly-folded wings to unfurl

Glide, FLY!

So that one would gladly jump for love again, and over again, into oblivion

Head-first into the great wide unknown without a moment’s hesitation

Or the need to reason: ‘Why’?
