Garden

Weed out, dark thoughts, fear, doubt

Regularly, to maintain the luscious garden

Lest the blackened bramble’s thorn

Wounds, worries away the joy

Bleeding, seeping, snags a fragile heart

Pierces, red light

Warning bright

Drop of blood spot on my white

Sleeve, redness weeping

Into the weave

Like tears of sinking ink

Into blotting paper grieves

The experience of shadows

Absorbs hindsight

Transforms darkness into light

Love’s insight out

And out and on

Is being ‘One’

One love, one world, one nation
