Do What The Robot Says

maxresdefault

The rise and rise of the consumer zombie apocalypse

Mindlessly sleepwalking, texting and screen-swiping through the city-streets

From left to right, in dumbed-down, eyes-to-the-ground, automation

A brain-dead-lack of independent thinking

Pre-programmed avoidance conditioning

With an absence of common greetings, such as; ‘Hello’ and ‘Good morning

A singular, lack of sympathetic, or empathetic acknowledgment of other human beings

Resulting in an epidemic of narcissism, that’s hardwired-in

No choice now but to swallow the smart-sim pill

To give away one’s power and abdicate all free will

To become another blue dot in the GPS matrix

Trapped inside-the-box, with all the other clones and non-descript profile-pics

Caged in a wall-less prison of barcodes, passcodes, and ‘QR Codes’

Caught in the crossfire of the compulsory upgrade download

Every hour, on the hour, half past the hour

Bowing on ones knees to the corporate Mecca

Oh Hail! Oh Hail! Seduced by the god of strategic product placement

And the religion of subliminal advertising

Another cog in the machine of aspirational lifestyle desire and consumerism

Complicit in the capitalist pursuit of en-mass homogenisation

A world-wide osmosis of ‘bland’ and ‘same’

At the expense of environmental annihilation and plundering

Hoodwinked into relinquishing all responsibility

A soulless, loveless, absence of integrity

Towards ecological-sustainability and the community

Pulverised into oblivion

I’m alright Jack! Get your own comfort-zone

And if/when you do, then I’ll be back to undermine and humiliate you

To justify my taking it all away from you

Even if we share the same DNA, or went to the same school, OK

Apparently all’s fair in the world of ones and zero’s

And the nine-to-five, tick-tock, tick-tock!

And the loopholes in the microscopic small print

And the disclaimer in the extremely long T’s & C’s (that no one ever reads)

Just click ‘Agree’, download the App, and ‘BUY NOW!’ Click! Click! Click!

Now! Now! Now! Yesterday! On the double-quick! Quick! Quick!

The sooner we can shaft you with a ‘Continuous Payment Authority’ on the sly

Just fill out the form, tick the check-box and apply

More credit, more loans, more interest-free

More repossessed homes and hi-jacked property

Because you must do what society says in order to be ‘happy

You must have ‘more’ don’t you know? And you must believe what the newspapers say

In order to be a good citizen

So run along now and be a good little human

And do exactly what the robot says, even if it’s morally and spiritually reprehensible, or even criminal

Be a good little robot and do what the program says

Just like all the other robots out there, who-once-were-good-people

Who forgot what their dreams were in the harsh light of day

Who stopped believing that their dreams might just be possible

And can’t even remember who they once were all those years ago, anyway

Golden Nuggets

Like following a trail of bread crumbs

Little nuggets of understanding

And inner pearls of wisdom

Are often revealed

Through a process of developing

A heightened sense of intuition

Combined with a curious nature

An inquiring mind

And a fertile imagination

All of which lead one to what appears to be

A series of fundamental universal truths

Often overlooked by society

In preference for amassing a fiscal income

Hence such visionary observations

May still exist beyond

Not only my own experiential realm of understanding

Of the human condition

But also those members of the population

Whom have obediently abided by the governing rules of the nation

Having been weened upon the business ethic from birth

After a lifetime of indoctrination

May find it hard to initiate change

Or contemplate an alternate priority

Such as humanitarian concerns and environmental preservation

Resisting growth to avoid change enforces control through limitation

And those not yet accustomed to certain levels

Of mental and emotional emancipation

Free from subliminally implanted desires and seduction of the ‘ID’

Will cling to the devil they know (old structures) at all costs

In preference of embracing the devil they don’t

Some sectors of the community will open-heartedly embrace change

Some will resist, and the rest will be ambivalent

So really only one third of the population

Will be psychologically and emotionally equipped

To deal with the collapse of the monetary system

Those still stuck in unevolved solar plexus energy

Will still try to control the situation

By force

In an effort to retain their power and authority

The solution to heart-centered choices

That include the entire spectrum of the community

I feel is only ever usually achieved

By walking a mile in another person shoes

So as to be able to extend compassion and empathy

As opposed to a self-serving, self-obsessive preoccupation

Think of it as a form of method-acting

For all anyone really wants

Is to feel understood and to be heard

Great strides forward can be made

Simply by listening

And acknowledging the needs of others

Rather than continually pretending

That they don’t matter or don’t exist

This only creates resentment and tension

Which by the nature of suppression

Will build over time

And like a pressure cooker

Be required to let off some s-s-s-steam

Earth Not Mars

Earth not Mars

I’m just another victim

Of the moral decay

A modern-day symptom

Of the down-fall, demise, delay

Of harmony, peace and integration

An epidemic of antisocial-behaviour and narcissism

Proof of a lack of happiness, inner-peace, and meaning

Too many men-in-suits behaving badly everyday

Adolescent boys thinking they’re thugs

Acting like it doesn’t matter

With which, whatever they can get away

A lack of the ‘Gentlemen’ prevalent in society today

A world interacting without sincerity, integrity, respect

On a train, in the street, at work, at home or in the family unit

The needs of Women and Children still largely unrepresented and globally overlooked

A general disregard for what they want and how they feel

Push, pull, manipulation

Of the community, ego and control

For short term profit and gain perpetuation

A modern-day symptom

Of the demise of every country or nation

That aspires to emulate the rise and rise of the corporation

Capitalist materialist homogenisation

More powerful now than any government, monarchy, community, individual or religion

Instant short-term knee-jerk gratification

The insatiable unconscious consumer-ego

Must, have, want, need

Right now, yesterday

Highly contagious

Spreading like a wildfire-virus

Infecting the globe with mediochre consumerism

First, second, third-world, without exception

Man destroying his only true source of survival

Through commerce

Rain forests cleared for palm oil, eucalyptus, soy and grazing cattle

To be slaughtered to provide beef for burger-bars in the high street

Or for paper, lining the shelves with glossy magazines in high-street newsagents

Or for timber, for chairs and tables sold in MFI and IKEA hyper-stores

So what happens when the last tree is cut?

How can we breathe without trees?

How can we have water and healthy soil?

How can we reconnect with what is real?

With the importance of the survival of Nature

‘The Natural Habitat’ and ‘The Eco System’?

LOVE, affection and relatedness between people

Is the only central grounding-point

The unification of spirit and soul with all creation

In order to be able to continue

To see through ‘The commercial Illusion’

To resist being distracted, seduced, deceived

And with wave upon wave of new generations

Who have become casualties

Of the western world

Of free trade

Of fragmented and broken family homes

Fleeing war-torn countries, natural disasters

Crushed cultures, lost-lineages, races, religions

We have a nation of confused, displaced identities

Individuals who feel like they don’t belong

Who don’t fit in

So money has become the one common language

The £ the $ the ¥ and the €

People flock to the cities now to talk the new ‘Esperanto’!

And cities support its lowest common denomination

Profit promoted via alcohol, tobacco, sex, cars, drug-dealing

Clubs, guns, gambling, dishonesty and stealing

The exploitation of children, animals, the forests, the land, the rivers the oceans, the air and the ozone

Money without integrity

Money without a soul

The biggest illusion of survival is:

That war generates money

And crisis is good for business

As long as there is unrest

There is money

From people’s need and misfortune

Money to promote political titillation

Global media communication

Propaganda, religious doctrine, hype

Tripping down the one-way spiral

Watching the hearts of men turn evil

Sealing the ill fate

Of another entire civilisation’s demise and destruction

And, in the eve of the consumerist throw-away society

There’ll be nothing left behind

Nothing to show that we ever existed

No Pyramids

No Stonehenge

No Pantheon

Maybe then the planet will get the rest She deserves

If she isn’t left barren

And who’s to say that wasn’t already the fate

Of our adjacent planet ‘Mars’ before us?

Maybe ‘We’ are the real Martians

Who never learned

The first time..?

Mars is the fourth planet from the Sun and the second smallest planet in the Solar System. Named after the Roman god of war, it has the appearance of having been through the wars with its battle scarred and scorched appearance and it is often described as the “Red Planet”, due to the iron oxide prevalent on its surface gives it a reddish appearance.

Mars is a good example of what Earth will look like when we have cut down all the forests and the soil can no longer hold water
