Smart City

Monopoly2011

Today’s smart city

Is where training and education

Stopped being about following

Ones true vocation

And somehow became all about conditioning

Schooled to become another brick in the wall

Another cog in the machine

Drilled in

From such an early age it manifests as the new religion

Where each new emerging generation

Shops til they drop

Til they’re so far in debt

They become trapped in a prison

Of desire and consumerism

Seduced by product placement and subliminal advertising

Victim of a society built upon capitalism

No escape

Do not pass ‘Go’

Do not collect ‘£200’

Do not buy a hotel, (let alone ones own house)

In fact go straight to jail

Caged like a wild animal in a zoo

That ate the bait

Who swallowed the smart-sim pill

Herded along

With all the other must do’s and should have done’s

On the road to ‘Blandsville’, in downtown ‘Homogenisation’

Complete abdication

Of ones ability to think for ones-self

From womb to tomb

And into total annihilation

Rubber Sole

GoldenAngel

Can one darn the immortal hole

In the sock of experience that chafes the rubber-worn sole

Of the shoe that doesn’t fit

That doth tread the path of uncertainty and risk

Can one re-weave the flimsy fabric

Of a threadbare soul

That doth ponder at the point

Of a heartless commercial world

Can one repair a forlorn and forgotten heart

So ragged and frayed and falling apart

From trying so hard

To love lost and damaged souls

Earth-bound angels

Whom hath but only one wing

To save them from the danger of their self-seduced egos

So ready, eager and willing

To sacrifice themselves and die

In pursuit of a fake western dream

To live a synthetic lie

Indelibly imprinted upon the lids of ones minds-eye

Entombed by in-built expiry

Come On

C’mon!

Take me on you bastards

I’m gonna take your money

Before you’ve even started!

And your life

And your wife

Pop will eat itself

Left on the shelf-life

Of expiry

Half-baked has beans

Next to the cereal entrepreneur

Failure and success

They don’t care

Risk addicts

Thrill and dare

Is worth the stakes

Have got what it takes

Go for the reward

The high-rise prize

Be the best

The millionaire mind

Lateral solutions

Think outside the box

Forget the mobile phone

The computer

The children

61% put money, mortgage and loan

Before relationship, marriage

And family home

Workaholics, 61 hours a week

No time to listen

To the beating heart

Surmounting failure

Is another invitation

To try again

Be the risk taker

Never giving up

But what about

The millionaire mind

Of the spiritual kind

Pure gold

Follow your heart

Find your joy

Work for yourself

Become a pioneer

Lead the team

Building the roman road

Paving the way

For others

Whom we may one day

Might meet, know, or love

Self-confidence

From the heart

Open heart

Soul love

Finding the connection

It’s not about ego

Is not about control

Or manipulation

Or changing someone

To fit your ideal

It’s about acceptance

Simplification

Unification

Across the nation

Youthful Inexperience

CatCatalyst_SelfLove

The only way we can prevent

Our own children

And other kids on the street

From turning upon

Anyone and everyone

Born before they were

Biting the hand that feeds

By stealing, abusing, maiming

And generally causing aggravation

With lives lived in fear

From the inconsideration

Of youthful ignorance

Oblivious to the pain it causes

Endorsed by lack of effective parenting

Lack of being free from conditioning

Perpetually subjected to

The illusion of advertising

Each new generation

A commercial target audience

New life is a commodity

For commercial profit and gain

Instead promotes materialism

Lack of community, unity, connectedness, oneness

Too young to realise

Separateness is not the answer

For what you do to another

You do unto yourself

And karma will get you

Maybe not right now, this instant

Maybe not tomorrow

But it will come around

Maybe when you’re older and wiser

You’ll become the whipping boy

For another youngster’s learning curve

Experiential process

How can we prevent our kids

From being seduced

By the media

So that they realise

That by turning against another, each other

The establishment, the world

They turn against their own self

“If you spit on the ground, you spit on your self”*

What you do to another

You do unto your own self

For we are all ONE

Parts of the infinite whole

Particles of the cosmos

Holographic fragments

Of The All There Is

And The All There Is, Is Love

One Love

But how can you open to it

If you don’t know it’s there?

No one explains the inner workings

Of the heart, soul, spirit, mind, body

The emotional intuitive subjective

Feelings, desires, cravings, yearnings

What are they?

Where do they come from?

And why do we have them?

School doesn’t teach an individual

To know themselves

Understand the self

Or how to take responsibility

For ones own destiny

Health, wealth

Happiness, harmony

Instead youthful inexperience

Is unleashed upon the world at large

Multiple spanners in the works

Life Imitating Art

800px-NASA-Apollo8-Dec24-Earthrise

‘Earth Rise’. Taken by Apollo 8 crewmember Bill Anders on December 24, 1968.

In general the media, commercial advertising and Hollywood

Is all about ego-manipulation

Spoon-fed to each new generation

So is all they know

And becomes what everyone knows

Weaned upon TV, celluloid and photographic illusions

Unreal fabrications of the real world

Where life imitating art and the mass-media image

Reaches global distribution

Via commerce and technology

Conditioning the masses

On a daily basis

Every hour, on the hour, half past the hour

On paper, radio waves, internet and television

Until the surreal rapidly becomes

The real

Becomes the accepted ‘norm’

Disguised as consumerism

Filtering through misguided projections

Integrating carbon copy imitations

Of someone else’s ideas

And persuasive money-scamming visions

Thus the entertainment’s industry and advertising

Via its original creative intent

Teaches us subconsciously

How to be devious and manipulative

For our own ends

And is awesomely powerful

Especially when not asserted responsibly

For when irresponsibly let loose

Upon subconscious minds everywhere

Imprinting subliminal messages

Undermines the fabric of community and connectedness

Instead endorses stereotypical negative role-models

Of murder, theft, deceit, rape, alcoholism

Drug addiction, violence, power abuse, etc

Makes for interesting viewing

And so-called entertainment

Interspersed with repeated ad-breaks

Subliminal conditioning, over and over again

Becomes so familiar, like second-nature

Persuasive illusions embraced

Psychological delusions unchallenged

Yet more distractions from truly knowing and understanding

One’s inner-Self, one’s true self

And therefore from truly knowing and understanding

Another human being

The environment that we live in

And the Earth

This Planet we live upon
