Peachy

Driving down the highway to the future

I reach a dead end

Riding on the western freeway I arrive

At post industrial decay

End of the economic line

For these incorporated times

No more land of opportunity

No more pieces left

Of the American Dream pie

In the sky

Blueberries and cream

Seductive illusions to confuse and fool

Hard lessons life has to teach

Improvised survival

Aspirational life styles high and dry out of reach

Requiem for the lost age

Of the golden peach

Youthful Inexperience

CatCatalyst_SelfLove

The only way we can prevent

Our own children

And other kids on the street

From turning upon

Anyone and everyone

Born before they were

Biting the hand that feeds

By stealing, abusing, maiming

And generally causing aggravation

With lives lived in fear

From the inconsideration

Of youthful ignorance

Oblivious to the pain it causes

Endorsed by lack of effective parenting

Lack of being free from conditioning

Perpetually subjected to

The illusion of advertising

Each new generation

A commercial target audience

New life is a commodity

For commercial profit and gain

Instead promotes materialism

Lack of community, unity, connectedness, oneness

Too young to realise

Separateness is not the answer

For what you do to another

You do unto yourself

And karma will get you

Maybe not right now, this instant

Maybe not tomorrow

But it will come around

Maybe when you’re older and wiser

You’ll become the whipping boy

For another youngster’s learning curve

Experiential process

How can we prevent our kids

From being seduced

By the media

So that they realise

That by turning against another, each other

The establishment, the world

They turn against their own self

“If you spit on the ground, you spit on your self”*

What you do to another

You do unto your own self

For we are all ONE

Parts of the infinite whole

Particles of the cosmos

Holographic fragments

Of The All There Is

And The All There Is, Is Love

One Love

But how can you open to it

If you don’t know it’s there?

No one explains the inner workings

Of the heart, soul, spirit, mind, body

The emotional intuitive subjective

Feelings, desires, cravings, yearnings

What are they?

Where do they come from?

And why do we have them?

School doesn’t teach an individual

To know themselves

Understand the self

Or how to take responsibility

For ones own destiny

Health, wealth

Happiness, harmony

Instead youthful inexperience

Is unleashed upon the world at large

Multiple spanners in the works
