The iPoem manuscript is now free online at issuu. For links to examples of some of my favorite poems and blogs please visit StumbleUpon:

My work explores the development of ‘spiritual and emotional capability’. I attempt to do this via the cross pollination of the interdisciplinary arts. In the past this has involved events and the use of recycled materials to draw attention to environmental issues. (See Ideology tab above). However, now I am more interested in the powerful emotions that drive people to act, either responsibly or irresponsibly, consciously or unconsciously, collectively to save a planet or conversely to destroy it.
But always how one treats another person and how one treats ones environment is a reflection of how one loves, accepts and respects oneself (or not as the case may be). And when humanity arrives at this fundamental realisation; that the energy one either extends or withholds, is exactly the same treatment that one invites into ones own life, then we shall have reached a major turning point in the collective consciousness of humanity.
Similarly, one may in turn realise that Planet Earth is also an extension of ones own self, for the Earth is sacred hallowed ground, made from the bodies of our collective ancestors and all that has previously walked upon the earth before us, which as Chief Seattle points out: “If men spit upon the ground, they spit upon themselves“, (so my suggestion is to carry a handkerchief!).
Spiritual and emotional capability enables an individual to practice the art of non-attached Love for all, which requires tremendous courage and emotional strength for it constantly tests the limits of ones personal boundaries. For example it is much harder to respect someone that you don’t like, than someone you like already, for ones personal preference does not necessarily make a person any less deserving.
And so by suggesting alternative, more elevated ways of responding to ones own stuff, the world at large and the people and creatures in it, these can then become tools of conviviality which may serve as agents for beneficent social change.
For what this new millennium needs to see is the emergence of a deeper level of responsibility towards Earthly affairs and towards each other, beyond the man-made arena of greed-centered commerce, so that the world’s nations and populations, understand that we are all co-curators of Planet Earth, and that we all have a valuable role to play in this joint-responsibility, to take greater care of our only home in this solar system, to cultivate eco-centered sustainable business with a deeper level of intuition and sensitivity which in turn develops into a greater sense of fairness in all human affairs, whether worldly, family or personal, therefore resulting in a greater sense of Reverence for all things natural.
‘…For to evolve through Love is the greatest spiritual teaching on Earth, from personal, through transpersonal, to unconditional and Universal, a conscious choice everyday, there really is only one way forwards, everything else is resistance.’ (From: Holiness of the Heart)
Blog: New posts are often in their idea form and therefore require further work after posting over the following days or weeks to shape them into their final form, so please check back to see the creative process unfold, the act of posting something live for me, is part of my creative editing process so the first post is rarely in its finished form, sometimes it comes easily and sometimes it can take a week before it feels right…
Currently I am archiving my memoirs right back from 1988 and my aim is to add a photograph or an illustration to each blog post, although this may take some time to complete. Work that is not my own has been found on the internet. I have credited the artist where possible however many of the images have no source to reference. If I have used one of your images please contact me so that I may credit your work and link to your site or blog if you have one. Many thanks in advance. Kind Regards i-P
